Create 3D images using 2D camera and free software StereoPhotoMaker

3D images may give a nice and new feeling to you. If you like, you can create 3D images yourself easily. You only need a normal 2D camera, 3D Reg-Cyan glasses, and free software StereoPhotoMaker to create awesome 3D images. This post will show you how to do.

Step 1: To create an 3D image, you need to capture a scene from 2 different angles. After capturing an image, you can move your camera 10-20 cm to the left or to the right and capture another one.

Step 2: Copy 2 captured images into your computer.

Step 3: Using StereoPhotoMaker software to create a 3D image. You need to specify the left and right images in the software. The software will analyze both images and display 3D images for you to choose.

Step 4: Using 3D Red-Cyan glasses to watch your 3D images.

Note: when capturing images with the RAW format, you shoot choose the same setting (exposure, saturation, …) for both images. To generate good 3D images, you may need a wide angle lens, such as 30-100mm lens.
