Save any web pages to PDF or image files using iWeb2x
iWeb2x is a free extension for Firefox and Google Chrome web browsers. It allows to save web page content to a PDF or image file. You can set the size or quality for the target file.
To install iWeb2x for Firefox, open Firefox and go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/iweb2x/ . Click on “Add to Firefox” > “Install anyway”.
With Google Chrome, you can go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mhabjpofjblpelkgmllkpcnlhgjpebko and click “Install” to install this extension. After installing, a red disk icon will display next to the address bar.
Now, you can click on the icon of this extension to save a webpage. You then can select the target format and settings in the following dialog:
You can choose option “No Image” to save a website without saving images. You can also choose “No Background” and “Gray Scale” to save website without background image and convert it into grayscale image, respectively.
After selecting options, click Save As PDF or Image and click “Download” to download it to your computer. This extension supports PNG, GIF, JPG, TIF, BMP, PPM, and PGM image formats.
