IRIS an alternative Siri app for Android
It took only 8 hours to complete the alpha version of Iris app! This app has gained a lot of attentions from Android users. It has similar functions compared to Siri of Apple. However, the functions of the alpha version are limited. Now you can Q&A but cannot access to the system functions such as making a phone call or sending a SMS message.
This app has been developed by developers of dexetra.com. Iris now can answer simple questions. It uses the built-in speech-to-text function in Android to recognize voice and convert it to text. When you ask a question, it will retrieve information from Internet and provide an answer. You can download this app for free from https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dexetra.iris
